a supporting trip covering the Coast and Castles Cycle Route between
the 29th - 31st May 2010 |

Pie
& Peas Supper with a Tandem - Monday 2 November 7pm
In place of the Club Pub Social on Monday 2 November, we've organized
a Pie & Peas Suppper in Hamsterley Village Hall at 7pm.
It's a special occasion - if you were at the AGM in April you'll
have seen the Norwegian instalment of Neil and Kathryn Gander's
7,800 km!! tandem trip across Europe. By then they'd reached as
far as Innsbruck, Austria - but just after the AGM they returned
to complete the trip with a 6 week ride through Italy to Malta.
See more video and slides from Sweden to the Alps - and a view
of sunny Italy like you've never seen it before, from the back
of a bicycle made for two....
£5 cost to cover supper, hire of hall and contribution to
club funds - feel free to bring your own drink.

the forest but takes you out onto the moors. 19.2 miles, 2325ft
of climbing with a punishing grass climb !

A circular ride from the forest that takes
in the Weardale Way and some moorland roads : 21.8 miles, 2821ft
of climbing.

This is a 50km (31.1 miles) circular route,
boasting a lung/leg busting 1300m (4300ft) of climbing (and descending).

representatives of other relevant organisations to attend and
will therefore be looking for a good turnout from our membership
to show how strong mountain biking is in this area! This is especially
the case this year as we’ve just got £130,000 in funding
towards the new Red Trail and work has now started!!
